Go Well
Our school is a member of ‘GoWell’ (formerly Sedgefield School Sport Partnership). This allows us to access high quality sports coaching, competitions and training for teachers. We highly value the role of Physical Education and School Sport and aim to ensure all our pupils have a positive experience of sport at our school. Go Well also emphasises the mental health of children and the direct link between ‘Happy Minds and Happy Hearts’. As part of our Enhanced SLA, children across the school will receive sport coaching throughout the year. The coaches will work alongside our teachers and staff to help plan, deliver and evaluate our own PE lessons. Topics covered include: Athletics, Gymnastics, Dance, Invasion Games and many others. We regularly have themed days throughout the academic year such as: Cycling Days, Skipping Days and other taster days in sports. For further information please visit GoWell’s website: https://www.go-well.org/

Year 2 absolutely shone during their class assembly this morning! It was wonderful to see them share their learning with such confidence and enthusiasm. They performed amazingly well, and we are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved this year. There were certainly plenty of smiling faces on stage and in the audience!
