To our amazing Year 6 class of 2026,

As you leave primary school behind, take a moment to look back on all the memories you have made. From your first days of learning and growing, to the friendships, laughter, challenges and achievements that have shaped you, every moment has helped make you the incredible people you are today.

You have shared countless smiles, supported each other through ups and downs, and created friendships that will stay with you long after you leave these classrooms. The playground games, the funny moments, the lessons learned and the memories made will always be a special part of your journey.

Although it is time to move on to new adventures, remember the friends who walked beside you, the teachers who believed in you, and the wonderful memories you created together. Carry your kindness, courage and confidence with you as you begin the next chapter.

Class of 2026, be proud of how far you have come. Dream big, stay true to yourselves, and never forget the special bond you shared as a Year 6 class.

Good luck for the future — you will always be remembered.

Anti-bullying Week – Odd Sock Day – Children in Need

A Melrose Learning Trust School

What a busy, fun week!  We started the week with an Anti-bullying Assembly which focused on ‘Change starts with us’.

Whether it is verbal, physical, online or in-person, bullying has a significant impact on a child’s life well in to adulthood. By making small, simple changes, we can break this cycle and create a safe environment for everyone. Because together, we can challenge bullying. Change starts with a conversation. It starts with checking in. It starts with work together.

Change starts here.
Change starts now.
Change starts with us.

We also held Odd Socks Day to show we are all unique.

Finally we ‘showed our spots’ and helped raise over £224 towards Children in Need.  Thank you for all your kind donations.
