Hi Everyone,
Just a reminder that it is our Rights Respecting Week this week. We would love the children to wear their coloured team tops tomorrow (and usual school bottoms) for our team activities that we are completing. With it being ‘Random Act of Kindness’ Day this week, we have decided to focus on our ‘Care’ value. The children will be taking part in a variety of activities in the morning that all relate to being kind. Children will be asked to make a pledge to carry out acts of kindness during half-term and email photos to their class teacher of what they have done.
Each class will be focusing on a different article during the week and then presenting their work in the assemblies. Photos taken during the week will be uploaded to our social media pages so you can see what they have been up to.
Assemblies will take place on Friday – remember that we are having 2 assemblies (both the same) and asking that just 1 grown-up per family attend.
KS1 grown-ups – 9.15am
KS2 grown-ups – 2.30pm
Remember to complete the form on the app and your child will come home with a ticket if you have been allocated a place.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support.
Mrs Brentnall

We are very proud to be able to share with you that we have, for the 8th time, been awarded an Eco-Schools ‘Green flag with distinction’. The eco-schools team have given us lovely feedback. They were particularly impressed with our involvement with the tubs2pubs campaign, our litter picking events and how well the whole school got involved with ‘Earth Day’. They said: ‘You have shown as a school you are incredibly dedicated and enthusiastic about keeping our planet safe for the next generation. You are all superstars!’🌟🌍♻️ ... See MoreSee Less

To our amazing Year 6 class of 2026,
As you leave primary school behind, take a moment to look back on all the memories you have made. From your first days of learning and growing, to the friendships, laughter, challenges and achievements that have shaped you, every moment has helped make you the incredible people you are today.
You have shared countless smiles, supported each other through ups and downs, and created friendships that will stay with you long after you leave these classrooms. The playground games, the funny moments, the lessons learned and the memories made will always be a special part of your journey.
Although it is time to move on to new adventures, remember the friends who walked beside you, the teachers who believed in you, and the wonderful memories you created together. Carry your kindness, courage and confidence with you as you begin the next chapter.
Class of 2026, be proud of how far you have come. Dream big, stay true to yourselves, and never forget the special bond you shared as a Year 6 class.
Good luck for the future — you will always be remembered. ... See MoreSee Less
